WABS Performance at the Pavilion Theatre
Mad4Dance is proud to be part of the Wessex Association of Ballet Schools (WABS), a charity of local dance schools working together to provide high-quality performance opportunities for young dancers.
This term, our Rising Star and ADP students had the opportunity to perform in this year’s WABS production at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre. Performing on such a beautiful, professional stage is always a special experience, and the students danced with such amazing, energy, confidence, teamwork, and real pride. They really did blow the audience away with both of their routines; 'Greatest Showman' and 'Wicked'.
The day was topped off with our annual between-shows pizza trip to The Stable, giving everyone a chance to relax, celebrate, and make memories together. Always so special to see the students spending this time together and making memories.
Well done to every student who took part - you represented Mad4Dance beautifully.
Living Advent Calendar – Supporting Dorset Cancer Care Foundation
We were delighted to once again have taken part in the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar this December, opening our doors to the local community for a truly special evening of performance. The Living Advent Calendar is organised by Christchurch Rotary, where different local venues host an evening of community, performance and an opportunity to raise money for different charities.
Audiences were treated to festive and heartfelt performances including our Musical Theatre class performing “Merry Christmas Everyone” and ADP Purple & ADP Gold classes performing “Rewrite the Stars” and “Come Alive”.
A VERY special mention must go to Annabelle N & Ella N, who performed “Scream”, a duo choreographed entirely by themselves. And to Megan H, who performed her self-choreographed solo “Loud”. Seeing our students take creative ownership of their work and share it so confidently is really inspiring and we couldn't be more proud of you girls for your lovely pieces!
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, we helped raise vital funds for the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation, making the evening not only memorable for our students, but hugely meaningful too!

ADP News and Updates!
Mock Audition Day – January 2026
Each year, our Mock Audition Day gives our ADP students the opportunity to experience what a vocational college audition feels like - in a supportive, safe environment designed to build confidence, professionalism, and strong audition etiquette.
This year ADP students will audition for the opportunity to be cast in an additional show piece, choreographed by an industry professional. The selected cast will learn the piece in one dedicated rehearsal and then take responsibility for maintaining, cleaning, and preparing it for performance in August 2026.
Guest Teacher – Hannah Levitt-Collins
We are thrilled to welcome back Hannah Levitt-Collins, a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator whose career spans the UK, Europe, and Los Angeles.
Hannah’s credits include Wicked, Star Wars VII, and work with artists such as Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Nicole Scherzinger, and many more. Alongside her performance career, Hannah is a passionate educator and mentor, focusing on mindset, wellbeing, and holistic preparation for auditions.
Hannah is hugely supportive of ADP and the work we are doing with our students, and we know this experience will be invaluable for them.
Upcoming ADP Video Shoots 🎥
Our ADP students will again soon be working with Elliot, our resident videographer, on exciting new video content for the upcoming ADP Summer Show. These shoots focus on developing skills for screen performance, creativity, and professional presentation - all essential skills for today’s performers.
We can’t wait to share the finished results with you!

Save the Date – Saturday 1st August 2026! 🌟
Our ADP Experience Day is back – and it's not to be missed! Open to students aged 7–16, this unforgettable day is all about dancing, learning, and being inspired alongside your M4D family at the beautiful Layard Theatre.
Students will be fully looked after by our team of friendly chaperones for the day as they take part in an exciting schedule of industry-led dance workshops, guest talks, outdoor picnic, and then finish the day by watching ADP's next full length show: ‘A Night At the Movies’. It’s the perfect chance to get a real feel for the ADP journey, enjoy some fantastic classes and to be part of a special day.

Spotlight on the TA Programme
This September, we were proud to relaunch our Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme with updated training and brand-new content — and the progress so far has been fantastic.
The TA Programme is designed for students aged 14+ who are interested in supporting younger dancers and developing the skills needed for dance teaching. It is a two-way commitment: students receive structured training and mentorship, while contributing positively to the studio environment.
Programme Structure
Year 1 – Foundations of TeachingFocus on communication, safety, learning styles, and supporting a lead teacher.
Year 2 – Developing Teaching PracticeGreater responsibility, micro-teaching opportunities, nervous system awareness, and applied safeguarding.
Year 3 / 4 – Specialisation & Teaching ValuesLeadership, choreography, professional practice, and preparation for trainee teacher roles.
While not externally accredited, this programme provides invaluable real-world experience and looks fantastic on a CV.
We are so proud of the dedication and growth of all our TAs this term. A huge thank you to Amy W, Ava R, Caitlin M, Daisy A, Jess K, Elodie E, Poppy B, Zoe P, Evie C, Jess F, Ella H, Lola M, and Ella N. You each make such a difference to our students!
