AVON VIEW COMMUNITY PERFORMANCE
Mad4Dance recently had the privilege of performing at Avon View Care Home, and it truly was such a special and memorable experience for everyone involved.
We were incredibly proud of all the students who took part. They performed with so much warmth, confidence, kindness, and joy, and it was beautiful to see how much their music, energy, and smiling faces meant to the residents at Avon View. The performances brought so much happiness to the room, and many of the residents were deeply moved and uplifted by the children and young people.
One of the loveliest parts of the day was seeing our students spending time speaking with the residents afterwards. They showed such compassion, confidence, and maturity while engaging in conversations, and they represented our Mad4Dance community so beautifully.
It really was a truly heartwarming day that left all of us feeling emotional, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share the joy of dance with others.
We are already looking forward to returning again in the future. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations for how we can get more involved in other areas of the community for performances like this, please let us know! 💜
adp students perform at origins day!
Some of our senior ADP students recently had the fantastic opportunity to take part in Origins Day at Pavilion Dance South West alongside nine other dance companies from across the South West region.
The day provided such a valuable and inspiring experience for our students, giving them the chance to participate in a variety of workshops, take part in Q&A talks focused on injury prevention and dancer wellbeing, and perform in the evening showcase performance.
It was wonderful to see the students fully immerse themselves in every part of the day, showing such professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion for dance throughout.
Experiences like this are so important in helping young dancers grow not only technically, but also in confidence, knowledge, and creativity.
We were incredibly proud of every student who represented Mad4Dance and ADP. They conducted themselves beautifully throughout the day and delivered a fantastic performance in the evening show.
A huge well done to all involved!
WABS WORKSHOP DAY!
Mad4Dance is proud to be part of the Wessex Association of Ballet Schools (WABS), a charity of local dance schools working together to provide high-quality performance opportunities for young dancers.
Earlier this year some of our Rising Star students took part in a workshop day with guest teachers. It's really lovely watching our students take part in these extra opportunities and learning from new people.
Our Rising Stars Programme celebrates students who show commitment, consistency, and passion by taking a minimum of three classes per week, including ballet and modern. Rising Star students are then offered additional performance opportunities, community events and parties as part of our reward scheme.
If your child would like to try a new class or becoming a Rising Star, please contact us so we can make sure they are in the right classes.
'wonder of you' 2026
It’s hard to put into words just how special this year’s show, The Wonder of You, has been for all of us at Mad4Dance.
Watching our students throughout their show journey is something truly magical. From the first practices in class, to the laughter, friendships, teamwork, and memories made along the way, right through to seeing them step onto the stage and absolutely shine...there really is nothing quite like it. Watching their confidence grow and seeing the joy and pride they feel while performing is such a privilege, and we could not be prouder of every single student who took part in this year’s show.
Each and every performer brought something special to the stage, and together they created moments that we will all remember for a very long time. The dedication, commitment, resilience, and passion shown by our students throughout the entire process has been incredible to witness.
We would also like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to everybody who helped make this special experience possible for our students. To our wonderful teachers for their endless hard work, creativity, encouragement, and support; to our amazing chaperones who gave up so much of their time to help keep the children safe, happy, calm, and smiling backstage; and to all of the families and supporters who helped every step of the way — thank you.
A very special thank you must also go to our incredible parents. Thank you for every lift to rehearsals, every costume preparation, every encouraging conversation, every early morning, late night, and all of the support you give behind the scenes. Your commitment, patience, and encouragement play such a huge part in making opportunities like this possible for our students, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
It truly takes a whole community to create something as special as this, and we feel so lucky to share these experiences together.
The Wonder of You felt so much more than just a show but a huge celebration of our students, their journeys, and the magic that happens when they come together as a family!

OUR UPCOMING ADP SHOW - DON'T MISS OUT!
If you loved our M4D show and felt moved by our wonderful students then you will absolutely love the ADP show coming up in August!!! It’s a group of just 28 of our students, performing a whopping 40 dances in this show, which celebrates musicals, iconic movies and all things theatre.
The students are working so incredibly hard, but with such a small group of them it’s difficult to fill the theatre and give them the audience they deserve. I know it would mean a lot to them to see your familiar and friendly faces there cheering them on. Plus, it willl be a fantastic night out with friends and family of all ages! 🙌

IMPORTANT REMINDERS – Car Park & Uniform
timetable
We will be reviewing the timetable this half term and will be in contact with you if there are due to be any changes to your child's class day or times. If you do not hear from us, then please assume your child's class is staying at it's current day and time.
We don't predict many large movements as all students are currently in their correct grade or class level for any exams which will take place next school year. So any changes will be logistical for opening new classes or making the timetable run more smoothly.
Car Parking
Please remember that Mad4Dance does not own the rear car park. Drivers must enter their registration on the iPads if parking for more than 20 minutes.
Failure to do so will result in a fine, and unfortunately we are unable to have tickets cancelled.
